Business parks in Plano such as Granite Park continue to grow and expand based on demand in the Dallas Tollway Corridor

Coming Soon: Amazon.com North Texas Regional Office
Plano Business Park

Granite Park is one of the prime business parks on the east side of the Dallas North Tollway.  It’s right before you get to the intersection of 121 and they continue to expand their services with a new Hilton Granite Park coming on stream in the summer of 2014.

Plano Hilton

The 293-room Hilton Granite Park will be a conference hotel within the office complex of Granite Park. The hotel will be located directly across from Granite Park Three between the office complex’s water features. As Granite Properties has noted the timing is right for the Hilton Granite Park for the much needed business conference space.

Plano Amazon

In other Granite Park news in mid-August Amazon.com announced their big new North Texas regional office is headed to Plano. Amazon picked the Granite Park III building in West Plano for its new office location. It is purported that amazon.com will end up initially with about 100,000 square feet of office space for the new operation.

Granite Park III evidently got the nod from Amazon as there will be expansion space available in the Granite Park IV building which is under construction next door.

Not a part of Amazon’s expansion in Plano but they are also building two North Texas distribution centers- one in Coppell and one in Haslet which is north of Fort Worth which combined will employ more than 1,000 people when up and running.

Congrats to all the folks in North Texas and Plano business parks who helped put together the programs that brought Amazon to our various communities.
