3401 Midway Rd in Plano has an unusual history!

Here’s the B/4 and AFTER HISTORY of same.

From one of the pics in this BLOG from Smith & Smith Realty/PlanoHomesAndLand you would think it’s a bank.

But as you note from the lead photo the building is now occupied by TRUE SPIRITS Liquor-Beer-Wine who recently moved into this location on Parker Road between Marsh Lane in Plano and FM 544 (actually a Hebron, TX address) just about a mile from 3401 Midway Rd in Plano 75093  TRUE SPIRITS new location.

Originally the 3401 Midway Rd  site was built as a branch bank for Capitol One Bank and during the last financial downturn of 2008 the branch was closed by Capitol One Bank.

TRUE SPIRITS is an independently owned Liquor, Wine, Beer merchant owned by Gregory True , a true entrepreneur (no play on words here) , who you will note on his LinkedIn account under his name Gregory True has a very diverse background in the hospitality business including being a CHEF  and CATERER at  Gleneagles Country Club in Plano on his resume.

If and when you might visit TRUE SPIRITS and Gregory is there (which is most of the time as he’s a hands own proprietor) ask him to show you the former bank vault when the building was a Capitol One Bank site.   Gregory now uses it as a SPECIAL EVENTS ROOM and might even rent it out to you for something like a birthday party for a family member or friend (that is as long as you’re 21 or over and all your guest are also).

One final note on TRUE SPIRITS and Gregory True is Gregory prides the store on bringing the FINEST SELECTION of WHISKEY’s ON EARTH to his customers!
