Perry Homes is spreading it’s legacy via their Britton Homes division in Plano’s Legacy West!

New Homes at Legacy West

Britton Homes Texas,  a division of Perry Homes based in Houston, will be the only home builder in Plano’s $3.2 Billion Legacy West  mixed-use urban development.  These detached single-family  two and three story homes will priced from the $600’s, 2033 sq ft to 3000 sq ft with the architecture format being uptown modern home designs.  The homes will be located near the intersections of Communications Drive and Headquarters Drive in Plano which is adjacent to the original JC Penney campus just due west of the Britton Homes Texas Villas At Legacy West development.

Needless to say there will not be for a lack of restaurants, retail outlets, office buildings and some very major national tenants with their own campuses dedicated to given companies employees such as Toyota Motor North America, Liberty Mutual, FedEx Office, JP Morgan Chase, Fidelity Investments,  and the original JC Penney Co.  These companies will be bringing  a head count of up to 20,000 jobs in Legacy West that will be a major factor of why the restaurant and retail outlets should do a ‘boon doggle’ of business from day one.  According to published statements the following numbers of employees that will eventually be working  at Toyota (4000), JP Morgan Chase  (6000), FedEx Office (1200),  Liberty Mutual (4000).

For an insight into the restaurants and retailers who will be opening in Legacy West here’s just a few for your overview:   RESTAURANTS – Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steak House, Earis Kitchen & Bar, Fogo de Chao Brazilian Steak House, Haywire, Mesero, North Italia, Shake Shack, Sprinkles, Taverna, Tommy Bahama Restaurant & Bar, Toulouse Cafe and Bar and True Food Kitchen.  RETAILERS: Barnes & Noble, Dean and DeLuca, Johnny Was, Suitsupply, and Tommy Bahamas.

Plus on the food side venue will be LEGACY HALL a three-story food hall with more than 20 food stalls that has not yet finalized all restaurants that might possibly be in the food hall and includes FT33, Monkey King Noodle Company, Patina Green, Suze,  Pei Wei, Bengal Coast, Knife Burger, Baboush and Medina, Proof + Pantry, Madrina, Front Burner, Chino Chinatown, Alma and Komali, Press Waffle Company and Amberjax.

And  add to the mix of major corporate companies moving to the Legacy West area is  NTT Data, a Japanese company, who bought Dell Services in November 2016 for $3.1  Billion.  NTT Data will be moving to 7950 Legacy Dr which is actually located in One Legacy West.

Overall  there are EIGHT developments within Legacy West that are reshaping business in North Texas: Toyota $350M, One Legacy West Office Tower $90M, FedEx Office $40M, JP Morgan & Chase $220M,  Liberty Mutual $325M, Legacy West Urban Village $400M, Renaissance Hotel $94M , and VILLAS AT LEGACY WEST $100M.

TAKEAWAY:  Legacy West, One Legacy West and The Shops At Legacy are all located in what has become to be known as Plano’s Platinum Corridor.  In looking at Plano’s Platinum Corridor one can easily understand why  LEGACY WEST at the  intersection of DNT and SH 121 has become  the  EPICENTER for BUSINESS  in the DFW Metroplex.
